Registration Policy
Once Canadian Teacher Consultants has received your e-mailed Registration Form, Services Payment and above required information, it may take a few days to evaluate (through the associate Canadi an high school) and return a response. If accepted we will provide you with your username and log-in information via email, phone, or mail, which will allow you to begin immediately. If you are not accepted, a reason will be given along with a refund for the course.
High School Course Transfer Policy
Transfer to another course is permitted for an additional $130 fee, and only granted within 7 days of enrollment in an original course, given that some teacher engagement may have transpired in that original course.
Students must provide appropriate credentials to register for a course(s) :
- Proof of age, such as, a Birth Certificate, Driver’s Licence or Passport along with a recent picture taken within 6 months.
- Students must submit an official transcript (academic documents) and other pertinent documentation as evidence of previous studies, since, pre-requisites may be required for courses chosen and equivalencies could be granted. This will be reviewed by the Canadian high school Principal, who will ultimately determine if pre-requisites are in place, and if a substitution or equivalency is granted.
- Please ensure that the documents submitted have been translated by a certified translator. This ensures that the application and documents are efficiently handled. Please provide contact phone numbers, addresses and emails to allow Canadian Teacher Consultants to make contact as required/needed for guidance purposes.
- These academic documents will be reviewed by Canadian Teacher Consultants for guidance purposes and the associate Canadian high school Principal to determine if an equivalency (EQV) can be granted under the Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) procedures (Ontario Ministry of Education). Prior learning includes knowledge and skills that students have acquired in both formal and informal ways, in and outside of secondary school. This includes college, apprenticeships and work place experiences.
- International students, whose primary language is not English and who has not been attending an English language school must provide an English-language proficiency assessment at the cost of the student. Students must be well versed in the use of the English Language, even when online.
